Escooter trial

April 9, 2021

It is with great pleasure that Kingsbrook Parish Council are able to announce that Kingsbrook has now been added to the areas covered by the Electric Scooter scheme in Aylesbury.  It has taken a lot of work on the part of the Parish Council, Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes and also the Management Company to find a suitable location and to make it work.  The new parking bay located outside the Village Green in village 2, will join the network of 80+ parking bays dotted all over Aylesbury, where residents of Kingsbrook can start and end their rides.  All of the terms of hiring can be found with the rental company, Zipp.  Charlie Gleeson, CEO & Founder of Zipp Mobility said ‘’We have seen amazing success across Aylesbury so far and we are really looking forward to making Aylesbury more accessible for the residents of Kingsbrook.’’
As Kingsbrook grows and the scheme progresses we will review the location and see if more can be added based on its success and feedback from the residents.

More information on the scheme can be found on the Buckinghamshire Council Website (Buckinghamshire Electric Scooter Trial | Buckinghamshire Council).
